Custom Banner Questions Most People Worry About
If you are like most people who have never made a custom banner before- or anything custom for that matter, then you have a few questions about how the process works. Below you will find some common questions that people have when creating a custom banner.

How Much Text Should I Include?
Banners are very visual advertising methods. When you create your custom banner, be sure to keep in mind that messages to the viewer should be short and to the point. In general, banners do not have much wording but the wording they do have is very bold and clear. It is likely that the person viewing the banner will only have a few seconds to understand what the banner is saying. If you create a custom banner that has a lot of writing, they will either not be able to see it or not have the attention span to read it.
Should I Include Our Business Logo?
Yes! It is important to make sure you include your business logo so they can identify the message with the source. Including your logo helps brand your image, product and service. If your business is shoes, you want to make sure you depict a shoe and then have your logo readily available; similarly, if your business is coffee, then you should show coffee or whichever item you have on sale with your logo. Any chance a business can get with putting a logo on advertisement is an opportunity. Making a custom banner allows you to pick out a precise placement of your logo.
What Colors Should I Avoid
In general, you should avoid using too many colors. Stocking to 2 or 3 colors is usually about the limit. You will also want to make sure you use colors that are easy to read; especially if you will expect people to read the banner from a distance. Yellow, pink, pastel colors and the like are not good choices for wording text. Use bold colors for important information so you know the message is clear. It is also advisable to avoid patterns or excessive use of different shapes because it is often times distracting.
