Sidewalk Signs: Lure in the Unexpected Customer
We have all been there; walking on the sidewalk or in the park and have seen a sign that advertised something or informed us of an event. Often times it is something we have never heard of or thought of. For this reason, we followed the sign to wherever it led us. Yes, that is an effective advertising method.
Sidewalk signs have been used for years and draw in on the spot sales and inquiries. For example, a tax professional relies on a lot of business from walk-ins. For this reason, a sidewalk sign would be very useful to inform people that they are available or what special deals they have over their competition.
Similarly, small vendors or businesses such as ice cream shops, clothing stores, specialty gift shops and more all can lure a customer in to see what they have to offer. The main idea with a sidewalk sign is to show a brief preview of what they can have or see when they visit your location. This could be a 50% off sale, a free gift when joining a gym or other promotional material that you are trying to get across to the customer.
Sidewalk signs are great because they are in eye sight of where people look when they are walking. This means that almost everyone that passes by will see your sign. Most people have no intention of buying anything on their commute or walk but if you grab their attention, you have a solid chance of making that sale.
